Welcome to the GSC

On behalf of AOSpine, it is a great pleasure to invite you to the 5th Annual Global Spine Congress that will concurrently be held with the 5th World Forum for Spine Research in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from April 13-16, 2016.

The Global Spine Congress (GSC) is the AOSpine International Annual Meeting which includes an audience of global participants, spine surgeons and researchers, and original research presentations. AOSpine launched the GSC in San Francisco in 2009. The event has since travelled to Barcelona (2011), Hong Kong (2013) and Buenos Aires (2015). The number of participants and speakers has grown rapidly and our last meeting in Buenos Aires had almost 1,300 participating surgeons from all over the world. We expect the rapid growth of attendees to continue to increase in Dubai.

The congress is open to all surgeons, spine practitioners, allied health professionals and researchers, and will offer a packed schedule during three days, showcasing the very latest approaches to spine care. The Scientific Programme will include AOSpine Symposia, Spine Society Symposia and pre reviewed abstracts scheduled to be presented as oral or E-posters presentations. We are convinced that all of these sessions will give you the opportunity to interact with the scientific community, present your data, and increase your network with like-minded peers.

At AOSpine, we are all looking forward to this event and its unique approach to sharing knowledge and developing new approaches to the treatment of spinal disorders.

Welcome to the WFSR

It is with great pleasure we invite you to the World Forum for Spine Research 2016 which will, for the first time, run concurrently with the Global Spine Congress in Dubai from April 13 – 16, 2016. Only one registration system will be available for both events. Once registered you will have access to both congresses.

The World Forum for Spine Research has established itself at the forefront of international spine care research through its commitment towards supporting researchers in developing and promoting scientific innovation, collaboration and contribution in fields related to Intervertebral Disc Degeneration. The event is based upon the unique concept of a multidisciplinary meeting with a clear focus on one key topic.

The focus of this year's Forum will be Spine and Intervertebral Disc Biologics.

The 2016 edition in Dubai will continue to offer a unique global platform with a stimulating, and focused environment for vibrant discussions, knowledge sharing, thought leadership and new friendships for clinicians, scientist, researchers and engineers through invited lectures as well as podium and poster presentations. Renowned international faculty will lecture on the rapid advance in basic, translational and clinical research in this area.
